Japan 1-10 sept

Yippie.. finally set on the dates for japan trip.. booked online but my wireless failed a few times.. lucky i'm not double charged.. redeemed all my sq miles and airport taxes were so ex.. S$228!!!???!!! *pengz*

Actually i was so pissed off today.. initial plan is to go on the end aug week but my boss said he's on leave from 28 to 31as well and major project deployment on 1 sept.. argh.. if i didn't ask i will never know.. major deployment and yet he can be on leave.. walau fair meh.. hack.. i need to confirm today since my miles are expiring by 2359.. and i have to adjust to my dear's schedule.. i can't and wont change my dates coz i will be penalised.. either "pay back" 6000 miles or US$240.. keke dear suggested a backup plan.. apply for amex krisflyer card and make $50 purchase to get free 5000 miles and redeem my citipoints for the remaining.. no way man.. unless really really have to.. very lugi leh!!!..

Anyways 2 months to count down.. very excited and really missed travelling with dear.. looking foward to jap food.. onsen.. etc etc.. *grin grin*

Ran one round of macritchie.. abt 10km in 1 hr 20 mins.. not too bad as i haven't been training much.. think it's the furthest i ran after marathon.. keke.. yeah lazy mode still.. hopefully i can complete 8.4km milk run on 2 jul in 50 mins.. wish for cloudy day too.. i hate running under the sun.. argh so uncomfy..

Rainbow..

Saw a very clear and long rainbow while i was driving home via TPE just before the turn to PIE.. sooo pretty and colorful.. lucky to stop by at the traffic light to take a pic.. but it covered only 1/4 of the rainbow.. wat a pity..

Of coz...

traveling with my dear lah.. keke.. i doubt he will let me go alone.. dear hor?!?!..

I wish..

that i can stop working now and go traveling round the world.. hai~~~ when will this day come.. *pout*..

Lunch wedding at M hotel

Ex-colleagues did not recognize me and keep asking what happened to me.. sounds like a bad change.. keke lucky it's for good *LOL*.. well it's the haircut since nothing else changed after 11 mths.. i have a fringe and shorter black hair now.. keke they said i look more girly and retro *LOL*..

The hot topic on table was abt an ex-co who has a triplets.. non-identical BBs.. natural conceived.. super fit mom and dad.. *salute*.. but all costs now have to multiply by 3.. each 3D scan per BB was S$250.. this was a must every 3 weeks to ensure BBs are ok and growing.. drove all the way to giant in JB to stock up milk powder.. each trip he would buy 10 tins or all available back.. 3 sets of jab.. 3 sets of clothes.. school fees X 3.. etc etc.. wah super doper siong man..

Btw the most interesting abt the wedding is the invitation card.. there were 4 different types of design.. looked like those movie posters.. really creative.. placed nicely at the reception area.. overall service and food were not bad but the shape of ballroom sucks..

Happy anniversary dear

It's our 2nd year anniversary.. and dear is not here with me *sob sob*.. last year present was a diamond ring from tiffany.. wonder what is this year present?!?!?! *grin*

Dark chocolate cake

Used a 9" pan and my cake raised like a volcano.. took 33+7+10mins to cook.. well a bit ugly but it's yummy.. after some dicussion with dear and mom.. will try using 13" by 9" pan the next time.. hng i wan a "siu siu" looking cake!!! *bleh*















Went MacRitche for 5km run right after this.. gosh i can feel my muscles burning.. really need to be discipline and train again.. out from the "lazy" mode.. *pout*

Soba and clam chowder

Weird match for dinner??.. actually quite alright.. both are dear's favorites.. mine as well.. miss dear's cooking.. sob sob.. miss shopping for groceries together.. dear will cook while i will prepare and wash/clean up.. dear will sacrifice and cook my favorites (yeah even things he dun really eat esp. tom yum soup, veggies).. dear will always try to cook new things and mix and match our meals.. eg jap style steamboat.. tempura.. etc.. boohoo when can i try dear’s cooking again..

BTW why i feel like having clam chowder today.. coz it made me feel very blessed.. dear bought them for me coz it's my favorite soup.. i remember how dear walked from hotel to pier 39 in his work shoes and carried cans of clam chowder back from pier 39 to hotel.. keke why walk ah.. coz a single tram ride per pax was US5 buck.. ex rite.. so to save $ we always walk in san francisco city.. keke well we took the tram back to hotel instead.. coz dear's feet were really in pain and dear had to rush back to work.. i was unhappy but the ride cheered me up.. yeah i stood at the edge and enjoyed the view and breeze.. while dear sat and rest.. still remember him smiling at me whenever i waved at him.. keke smiling in pain i think *grin*.. so these cans of clam chowder are really precious.. coz it has dear's effort of carrying them and some sufferings.. all for me to bring them back to sg..

Repair or replace?!?!..

Dad found and taped the leaking holes.. after a full refill.. i made my way to the mechanic.. he checked and found many holes.. at least i saw 2 small and 1 big ones.. water splashing out.. well he can repair but not sure if it can tahan until aug.. he advised to change the pipe.. it's the safest way.. he took the pipe out showed me.. it was really rusty and a lot of holes.. so after consulting my dear and dad.. we opt for replace.. 55 for the pipe and 20 for workmanship.. so not too bad.. yeah at least i feel safe to drive..

Waited for abt 2 hours.. went ikea and anchor point.. had a drink and a chocolate croissant.. he was kind enuff to check on the brake oil and etc.. all ok except brake oil is leaking a little.. so no jam braking.. gotta drive slower and no tailgating.. else the oil may leak even more.. lastly to find him when the brake is not working.. keke.. i will be very "guai".. really dun wana go though this hassle again.. so mafan..

Then i went to IMM for haircut.. feel good again.. light and refresh =)

Keke not done yet.. went home to bath and met frens at robertson walk for england and paraguay match.. very boring game.. england score was own goal.. so sad.. #8 (forgot his name) attempted a few times but were saved by the goal keeper.. well trip not wasted as i managed to catch up with frens abit.. haven't met them for ages.. they still the same.. guess the changes are age and hobbies.. we still work on the same things (family/work/hobbies).. keke.. guess this is life =).. a simple life..

Unlucky but yet a lucky day..

On my way home the car's radiator went up very high.. almost into the "danger" zone.. lucky i noticed and stopped at the shoulder of TPE.. and lucky i sent a colleague home as well.. else i won't be able to contact anyone since my mobile went flat.. yeah both batteries.. jialat rite.. so i called dad and a colleague who was still in office.. dunno how long later the colleague dropped by.. filled up the water and noticed that the water is leaking.. not long after the recovery team came and towed the car to tampines st 21.. friendly and helpful crew.. so i borrowed mobile from crew to let dad know where to meet.. finally dad came and checked.. and decided to drive home after filling up the water.. but before the turn to CTE from PIE to ang mo kio.. the meter began to rise beyond the half of the gauge.. so i stopped and let dad filled up the water.. gosh the smoke was coming out.. lucky to have dad around.. really lost and worried.. really can't wait to be home.. lucky it happened today on friday evening.. i can still send to the mechanic to fix tomorrow.. else i will have to take public transport to work.. gosh i can faint man.. anyways just need to "tong" for a while more (i hope)..

Well.. it was my first time sitting in the tow truck.. first time car kana "heated".. first time mobile went flat totally.. will be my second time bringing car to the mechanic.. i hope this will be my last time as well.. felt kinda helpless and blurz.. really wanted my dear to be around.. *pout*.. of coz glad to have dad coming to rescue too.. he will always be there for me.. always..

So what i learned here.. LTA saw my car from the camera and contacted the recovery team to tow my car away.. crew will take pictures of the car front and back before and after the tow.. it's free and it's to the nearest carpark.. lastly the crew service is great =) but then again.. i hope i won't need their service again *grin*..

Really happy that today is your "BIG" day.. the day to take the vow and sign your life to "D".. keke must be a freezing ROM for you.. anyways i will give you my blessings here.. that happiness and joy stay super doper close to both of you.. even during all the up-and-down in life =)
