1. to my first anniversary in the company [over and i'm swamped with more work even my colleague came back from reservist]
2. to a week in japan with dear.. climb mount fuji.. a nite in ryokan.. visit a shrine and imperial palace.. a bath at onsen.. etc etc *excited* [yeah =) 11 days to go.. preparing an eng and jap food list (so that we won't order wrong/weird things).. firming up on the itinerary and route (how to travel pt to pt).. things to do and places to go.. so excited]
3. to dear's return for biz trip.. yeah yeah yeah.. [yippie he will be here for 2.5 weeks]
4. to scrapping the car.. *sob sob* [just packed and cleared some stuffs.. zhen se bu de]
5. to my job transfer.. well same role but serve different depts.. not sure if it's a good change.. but at least it's much nearer to home.. keke.. nearer to the big bosses too.. oh ya.. hopefully this happens before car scraps.. else i will suffer motion sickness from the long bus ride everyday.. but i doubt so.. *pout* [latest news from colleagues is that i'll be back on 1st oct.. but my bosses are not telling me anything.. so not sure if this is confirmed]
6. to a long break in the states to visit my dear.. wish desperately for cheap airtix promo.. my folks are keen to follow.. so it might be my first trip so faraway with them.. gosh.. i cannot imagine man!!.. *pengz* [well had a discussion with my dear.. this trip will be postponed to early next year.. since he's back in sep and end nov]
7. to spend xmas with my dear.. our first xmas in
8. to my third marathon.. hai~~ need to start training again.. really very lazy nowadays.. [somehow i missed the promotion rate for early bird and past year runner.. keke.. not sure if i did it on purpose.. anyways i will run if company sponsors again.. *crossing my fingers HARD* =P]
9. to year end bonus.. *grin* [aiyo... 4-5 months to go.. so near yet so far]
probably you are wondering now why i’m counting down.. well have been feeling very bored and sian.. lazy too.. just wana see what i can look forward to until end of the year.. some perks to keep me going.. keke quite surprised to see such a list.. *hee hee*
Weird match for dinner??.. actually quite alright.. both are dear's favorites.. mine as well.. miss dear's cooking.. sob sob.. miss shopping for groceries together.. dear will cook while i will prepare and wash/clean up.. dear will sacrifice and cook my favorites (yeah even things he dun really eat esp. tom yum soup, veggies).. dear will always try to cook new things and mix and match our meals.. eg jap style steamboat.. tempura.. etc.. boohoo when can i try dear’s cooking again..
BTW why i feel like having clam chowder today.. coz it made me feel very blessed.. dear bought them for me coz it's my favorite soup.. i remember how dear walked from hotel to pier 39 in his work shoes and carried cans of clam chowder back from pier 39 to hotel.. keke why walk ah.. coz a single tram ride per pax was US5 buck.. ex rite.. so to save $ we always walk in
Dad found and taped the leaking holes.. after a full refill.. i made my way to the mechanic.. he checked and found many holes.. at least i saw 2 small and 1 big ones.. water splashing out.. well he can repair but not sure if it can tahan until aug.. he advised to change the pipe.. it's the safest way.. he took the pipe out showed me.. it was really rusty and a lot of holes.. so after consulting my dear and dad.. we opt for replace.. 55 for the pipe and 20 for workmanship.. so not too bad.. yeah at least i feel safe to drive..
Waited for abt 2 hours.. went ikea and anchor point.. had a drink and a chocolate croissant.. he was kind enuff to check on the brake oil and etc.. all ok except brake oil is leaking a little.. so no jam braking.. gotta drive slower and no tailgating.. else the oil may leak even more.. lastly to find him when the brake is not working.. keke.. i will be very "guai".. really dun wana go though this hassle again.. so mafan..
Then i went to IMM for haircut.. feel good again.. light and refresh =)

On my way home the car's radiator went up very high.. almost into the "danger" zone.. lucky i noticed and stopped at the shoulder of TPE.. and lucky i sent a colleague home as well.. else i won't be able to contact anyone since my mobile went flat.. yeah both batteries.. jialat rite.. so i called dad and a colleague who was still in office.. dunno how long later the colleague dropped by.. filled up the water and noticed that the water is leaking.. not long after the recovery team came and towed the car to tampines st 21.. friendly and helpful crew.. so i borrowed mobile from crew to let dad know where to meet.. finally dad came and checked.. and decided to drive home after filling up the water.. but before the turn to CTE from PIE to ang mo kio.. the meter began to rise beyond the half of the gauge.. so i stopped and let dad filled up the water.. gosh the smoke was coming out.. lucky to have dad around.. really lost and worried.. really can't wait to be home.. lucky it happened today on friday evening.. i can still send to the mechanic to fix tomorrow.. else i will have to take public transport to work.. gosh i can faint man.. anyways just need to "tong" for a while more (i hope)..
Well.. it was my first time sitting in the tow truck.. first time car kana "heated".. first time mobile went flat totally.. will be my second time bringing car to the mechanic.. i hope this will be my last time as well.. felt kinda helpless and blurz.. really wanted my dear to be around.. *pout*.. of coz glad to have dad coming to rescue too.. he will always be there for me.. always..
So what i learned here.. LTA saw my car from the camera and contacted the recovery team to tow my car away.. crew will take pictures of the car front and back before and after the tow.. it's free and it's to the nearest carpark.. lastly the crew service is great =) but then again.. i hope i won't need their service again *grin*..
Mom still not back.. so i will celebrate with her on tue..
Did laundry today so that she won't be nagging at me.. lucky the new washing machine is really easy to use.. but the hanging of clothes and ironing were so tiring *pout*.. really missed dear's clothes dryer machine in US..
Went tampopo to have dinner alone.. the whole place was crowded with families.. some kids and babies were crying.. gosh so noisy.. had zaru soba and sukiyaki beef nabe.. something different from my usual ramen.. it's yummie but i missed dear so much.. i dun feel lonely instead i felt something missing.. maybe we always come here to eat.. it's our favorite japanese restaurant.. when we chatted earlier he asked me to get some frens to have dinner there.. but i am just too lazy to find.. anyways i can eat alone.. so used to it as i often went business trips alone.. even now i will eat alone at times at work.. so dear.. dun worry about me =)
Well a summary of the happenings at ubin..
The resort is pretty neat minus the mosquitoes, lizards, frogs, cockroaches and disgusting bugs that fly..
Workshops on first day were on corporate values, some sharing of major projects and some hot topics like user management, individual productivity etc.. my favourite was on the conflicts between teams.. it was like GE on aljunied constituency.. kekeke..
Food at OBS was not bad.. pretty decent.. unlike what i was told =)
BBQ dinner was great.. there were 2 pits setup and my gang hogged on the first.. with my “experience” of bbqing and a colleague as fire “controller”.. our food tasted so good.. the prawns stuffed with garlic were sweet and tender.. chicken wings had some crispiness and juicy.. etc.. we had free beer and I had some =)
Won a company laptop bag from lucky draw.. missed the 250 best denki voucker and osim i-hamper..
Supposed to conquer the highest top at OBS but it rained.. so disappointed.. end up we had to climb indoor.. we had 4 obstacles which 2 are pretty similar.. i did 3.. we had to pair up and climb to the top together.. kekeke.. my colleagues had “labeled” me as a man.. honored or disgusted =P
Learned that there are a lot of efforts put in by other people to get one up to the top.. the person you paired up with, the belayer, the anchor and one who hold the remaining rope behind the belayer (forgot what this role call).. so i must remember to appreciate those who help me to get work done.. of coz i will remember those who hinder me as well.. *hng*
Bosses were making efforts to jell in to understand us better.. aiyo.. the “lao da” always talked to us on our boat rides and meal times.. “lao er” always started on wrong topics..
My gang had a sabotage on one colleague.. to throw him into the pool.. he struggled so hard and when he got up.. he actually kicked 2 chaps.. gosh they nearly had a fight.. anyways cold war now..

Well he was complaining that i din miss him.. coz i din sms or even go online (connection was ex).. but i did.. hoping that one day we will dive together hand in hand.. admiring the wonderful and pretty underwater world (keke not at the aquariums).. and also when the sun sets.. where he will always take pics.. how we used to suntan together.. how we played in the waves at the beach (kuantan drive-away trip)..
Hng.. another ski trip without me.. all in all 3 times.. somemore can ski at black diamond liao.. *pout till my lips turn RED* *bleh*..
Surprised to receive an ecard from my dear.. first ecard.. can't hold my tears as i read further.. really touching.. very assuring and sweet.. miss u dear.. saved it to mdi as a proof for future "threat" *wink*.. nah just in case only =P.. my dear knows and will give what is best for me.. rite dear? =)
